Version 16 was relaunched on 10/21/2016 (after it crashed suddenly and reset in the first week) and ended on 1/16/2017. This age saw the addition of the Green Man Tutorial and Support quests.

Version 15 was launched on 5/21/2016 and ended on 8/31/2016. This age saw the addition of The Ways and two new quest types, Horde and Escort. The Shadow's presence was minimal until the Last Battle when the true Darkfriends revealed themselves.

For the first time in several ages, the wheel weaved back into the pattern several players from ages long past. They recognized an imbalance between the strength of the Shadow and Light, so they recruited some support for the Shadow to form a more competitive age.

Silver Legion remained strong in numbers and used this strength, as well as a superior knowledge and strategy of controlling cities, to control a significant portion of the world's cities. They formed the foundation of the side of the Light.

Forsaken returned as the Shadow clan, focussed on more long game strategies, and patiently awaited the Last Battle to show their hand.

When the Last Battle arrived, the Forsaken managed a small early lead based on held titles, gained more of a lead due to a fortunate grab when the Horn of Valere was dropped in the wilderness, and then showed the power of their strategy by destroying all the last battle armies in a matter of minutes. The Light struggled to keep ahead of the rushing forces of massive hordes, and while they managed to protect most of the cities they held, their heads disappeared beneath the quicksand of the Shadow Last Battle point producing machine.

The Dark One was awakened and the Lord of Chaos ruled.
