Start Your Own Business

• Use 1 Profession Point

Professions give you access to several businesses and other useful bonuses. You must invest profession points (earned every 5 levels) in your desired professions to grow them.

To complete this part of the quest, follow these steps:

Note: For the sake of this tutorial, it is recommended that you choose whichever profession/business that your character started with a point already invested in it. This will be one of the following professions: Medic, Brewer, Cook, Miner, Farmer and Sailor. Please feel free to message the Green Man in-game if you have any questions.

1. Navigate to your professions page from your character menu on the navbar.
2. Find the profession from the list above that your character already has a point in, and click the 'Level Up' button.

• Make 1 Withdrawal from the bank

The Bank allows you to store most of your cash so other players can't steal it.

To complete this part of the quest, follow these steps:

1. Go to any city.
2. Locate the bank above the City Info section.
3. Use the entry fields to select the amount of money you will need to make 25 silver marks in your pocket. (To see how much is already in your pocket, look at 3 coin icons on your status bar at the top of your screen.)

• Own 1 Business

Businesses are useful for making money in the game, and producing consumable items for use during battle.

To complete this part of the quest, follow these steps:

1. Go to one of the cities where your chosen profession is available. (To find out where yours can be found, look up the specified business here.)
2. Find the City Hall and click the green 'Buy' button for your chosen profession.

Bonus Tip: With the bonus money earned from completing the achievement associated with this step, you will be able to complete the next step, as well as part of the next quest. So don't spend it.

• Make 1 Deposit into bank

To complete this part of the quest, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the city page.
2. If you have more than the city's current deposit limit in your pocket, the extra will automatically entered into the entry field of the bank. Simply click the blue 'Deposit' button.

Grow Your Own Business

• Own a Level 3 Business

Each business in each city has a potential 9 levels. A new level unlocks for every profession point allocated to that profession.

To complete this quest, follow these steps:

1. With 2 profession points allocated to your chosen profession, go to the city your business is in and make sure you have 50s in your pocket. Withdraw from the bank if necessary.
2. Open your business page.
3. Select the 'Upgrades' tab, then purchase a second shaft, plot, kettle, field, ship, stall or oven depending on which business you've chosen.
4. Allocate your 3rd profession point into the same profession. Note: If you chose another profession, you will have to wait till level 5 to receive another point.
5. Have 75s in your pocket and go to the business upgrade page again.
6. Purchase your third plot, shaft, oven, etc.
7. Go to your quests page and click "submit".

Bonus Tip: The achievement you get for this reward will give you 2g 50s. Save this money for the next quest. Bank your money as soon as you get it and only withdraw what you need when you need it.
