In a City, you can see what rumors are flying around the world. Click on the Rumors button, and you will see the nearby city rumors. This will tell you about any tournaments in any cities, if a horde is anywhere, if a bubble of evil hit a City and destroyed anything, if a Clan has declared a Clan Battle anywhere, or another Clan has taken control of a city. During the Last Battle, it will also tell you how many estates and businesses were destroyed if a horde was allowed to hit a city.
On the Seals section, this will tell you if anyone has found a Seal, which City controls a Seal, or if a Seal has broken, leading to the Last Battle.
